You built it fast with AI. Before customers, investors or a buyer see it, we check what the tools leave behind: the path to first value, onboarding, accessibility, mobile speed, front-end consistency and the security basics. $1,500, 3 working days, with a fixed quote for the fixes.

An AI MVP audit is a short, fixed-price review of a product built with an AI app builder or coding agent such as Lovable, Bolt, v0 or Cursor. In 3 working days DIXI checks what the tools leave behind: the path to first value, onboarding and empty states, accessibility, mobile speed, front-end consistency and the security basics. You get a recorded walkthrough, a prioritised fix list and a fixed quote for the fixes. The audit costs $1,500.
Because AI tools get an app working long before they get it clear, consistent and safe. The gaps rarely show in a demo. They show when real users arrive with no data, on a phone, with a screen reader, or when an investor’s or buyer’s due diligence opens the database. A few days of review is cheaper than finding out from them.
Builders have improved since these studies, and most of these gaps are configuration, not the builder’s fault. They are still exactly what an enterprise security questionnaire or a buyer’s due diligence looks for.
Eight areas, in the order users and reviewers hit them. We start with how long a new user takes to get one useful result, because that decides activation. Then the states AI tools skip, accessibility, speed on a real phone, the design drift that piles up prompt by prompt, the words, the security basics and whether search engines and AI assistants can tell what you do.
| Area | What we check | What you get |
|---|---|---|
| Path to first value | Steps from sign-up to the first useful result; what can be cut, defaulted or pre-filled | The core flow mapped, with the steps to remove |
| Onboarding and states | Empty, loading, error and permission states; what a first-time user sees with no data | Every missing state listed, with the screen it belongs to |
| Accessibility | Contrast, focus, labels and keyboard paths against WCAG 2.2 AA | Failures by component, so one fix covers many screens |
| Mobile speed | Core Web Vitals on a mid-range phone; heaviest scripts, images and fonts | The three changes that move the numbers most |
| Front-end consistency | Buttons, colours, spacing, radii and type that drifted as prompts piled up | A short token list and the 10–15 components the product really uses |
| Copy and trust | What it does, for whom, what data it uses and what happens when the AI is wrong | Rewrites for the first screen and the key empty states |
| Security basics | Database rules (such as Supabase Row Level Security), keys in the bundle, server-side permission checks, rate limits on costly endpoints | A short security note: what we found, what to fix now, who should own the rest |
| Search and AI readability | Titles, headings, metadata and whether ChatGPT can say what your product does from your site | Fixes for the pages buyers and assistants read first |
Your 25-point readiness score uses the same scorecard as our AI MVP cleanup guide, so you can re-score the product yourself after the fixes.
Anything that needs a specialist we are not. We don’t run penetration tests, rewrite back-end architecture, certify you for SOC 2 or HIPAA, or migrate data. When the audit finds work like that, the security note names it and says what kind of team should own it, so nothing falls between the cracks.
Both, and you decide after the audit. Plenty of founders fix the small items themselves with their AI builder, from our list. For the rest we run a cleanup sprint of about three weeks with two sign-off gates: nothing is designed before you agree the scope and price, and nothing is built before you sign off the core flow.
A 25-minute walk through the product together; read access to the repo or builder, test accounts for each role.
The eight areas above. You get the walkthrough video, the fix list, the score, the security note and a fixed quote.
First screen and positioning, design tokens, the core flow with every state. Gate: you sign off the flow.
Implemented in your own stack, tested on real devices, plus a rules file your AI builder reads before every prompt.
The audit fee is credited to the cleanup sprint. After launch, founders who keep building can stay on a design partnership from $6k a month.
The ones founders actually ship with: Lovable, Bolt.new, v0, Cursor, Claude Code and Replit. Each fails in its own predictable way, so the audit starts in a different place. A full-stack builder starts with the database, a front-end generator with whoever built the back end, and a coding agent with what it was asked to do.
| Builder | What it usually gives you | Where the audit starts |
|---|---|---|
| Lovable | Full-stack React app with Supabase auth and database, shadcn/ui and Tailwind | Row Level Security on every table; keys in client code |
| Bolt.new | A browser dev environment in several frameworks, back end wired by hand | Which framework you ended up with; how auth and data were connected |
| v0 | React UI on shadcn/ui and Tailwind, deployed on Vercel, no back end of its own | The back end around it; whether every screen uses the same tokens |
| Cursor and Claude Code | An AI editor or agent working in your own repository, any stack | Auth, data access and duplicated components the agent produced |
| Replit | Hosted full-stack apps built by an agent | Secrets, database access and where the app is deployed |
Builder rows follow our AI MVP cleanup guide (30 October 2026), which cites each builder’s docs.
The audit is a fixed $1,500 and takes 3 working days. The cleanup sprint after it is quoted at the end of the audit, usually between our two published packages, and takes about three weeks. Published market prices range from a $999 UX audit to a $60,000 rebuild, because the word "cleanup" covers everything from a list of problems to a new code base.

|---|---|---|---|---|
| DIXI AI MVP audit | Eight-area audit, walkthrough, fix list, score, security note, fixed quote | $1,500 | 3 working days | DIXI |
| DIXI cleanup sprint | Core flow, states and first screen redesigned and built in your stack, rules file | Quoted after the audit; audit fee credited | About 3 weeks | DIXI |
| MVP audit on Upwork | UX audit and an improvement roadmap | $999 | 5 days | Upwork |
| AI MVP cleanup on Dribbble | Core flows redesigned, states, components, Figma files | From $3,500 | 1 week | Dribbble |

Keep prompting while nobody pays you yet. Hire a freelancer for one clear problem, like a sign-in bug or a design pass. Choose a design and development studio when the flow, the look and the words all need to change together before a launch, a raise or a sale, because that is where hand-offs between three freelancers cost the most time.
| Option | Good when | Watch out for |
|---|---|---|
| Keep prompting yourself | Pre-revenue, still testing the idea | The look drifts with every prompt; security stays unchecked |
| Freelance product designer | You need new flows and can implement them yourself | Figma files nobody turns into code |
| Freelance developer | One clear blocker: sign-in, payments, database rules | The bug is fixed, the product is as unclear as before |
| Development agency | The code base itself is the problem, or you need a rebuild | Engineering-first teams that keep the default look |
| Design and development studio (DIXI) | Flow, look, words and front end must change together on a deadline | Studios that show only marketing sites and no product flows |

The DIXI audit is a fixed $1,500 for one web app, finished in 3 working days. If you then hire us for the cleanup, the audit fee comes off that quote. For comparison, published audits and cleanups run from $999 for a UX audit on Upwork to $3,000–15,000 for a development agency fixing code in place (prices checked 30–31 October 2026).
A recorded walkthrough of your product with our findings, a written fix list sorted into "before launch", "soon" and "later", annotated screens for the core flow, a 25-point readiness score, a short security note on what we found and who should own it, and a fixed scope and price for the fixes.
Both, and you choose after the audit. Many founders fix the small things themselves with their AI builder, using our list. For the rest we run a cleanup sprint of about three weeks: the first screen, the core flow and all its states redesigned, then built in your own stack, so you keep shipping with your AI builder afterwards.
Lovable, Bolt.new, v0, Cursor, Claude Code and Replit, and the stacks they usually produce: React and Next.js with Tailwind and shadcn/ui, Supabase or Firebase for data and auth, hosted on Vercel, Netlify or Cloudflare. If your app was built with something else, tell us on the call and we will say honestly whether we are the right team.
No. We check the basics that most often go wrong in AI-built apps: database rules such as Supabase Row Level Security, keys in the front-end bundle, permission checks on the server and rate limits on costly endpoints. That is a pass, not a penetration test. If you handle health, financial or children’s data, we recommend an independent penetration test before launch.
3 working days from the day we get access. Before that, a 25-minute call where you walk us through the product and we agree what is in scope. A cleanup sprint after the audit takes about three weeks from sign-off to a live, cleaned-up product.
Read access to the repository or the builder project, a test account for every role, and analytics if you have it. We sign an NDA before the call if you need one, we never change production during the audit, and you own everything we produce.
When nobody pays you yet and you are still testing the idea: keep prompting and talk to users. Or when the code base itself is the problem and the app needs a rebuild: then you need an engineering team, and we will tell you so in the audit rather than sell you a cleanup.
Book a 25-minute call. We look at your app together, and the audit takes 3 working days.
